Bambu Pps Cf Black
Usage Scenarios
How to Optimize Your Printing
Based on the properties of PPS-CF, it’s strongly recommended to consider the following tips to realize best performance:
1. Dry Your Filament
Drying Temperature:
In a blast drying oven: 100°C to 140°C for 8 to 12 hours.
On an X1 printer's heatbed: 110°C to 120°C for 10 to 12 hours (less effective than a blast drying oven).
2. Hardened Steel Nozzle
Hardened steel nozzle is mandatory when printing PPS-CF.
3. Seal with desiccant to prevent moisture and achieve ideal printing results.
4. Other Settings:
Build Plate & Bed Temperature: Smooth PEI Plate (100 - 120 °C); Textured PEI Plate (100 - 120 °C)
Printing Speed: < 100 mm/s
Nozzle Temperature: 310 - 340 ℃
Part Cooling Fan: 0 - 40%
Annealing: 180 - 220 ℃ 6 - 12 hours
Sample Projects

Ultra-High Heat Resistance
Bambu Lab PPS-CF boasts a heat deflection temperature of up to 264°C under 0.45 MPa. It can continuously operate at temperatures exceeding 200°C. This performance outshines normal PA-CF materials, which have maximum temperatures of around 190°C and 120°C. Bambu Lab PPS-CF ensures excellent creep resistance, making it perfect for demanding industrial environments.

Superior Flame Retardancy
Bambu Lab PPS-CF achieves a UL-94 V-0 flame retardant rating. This offers superior safety and reliability in critical areas like electronics and automotive components. Bambu Lab PPS-CF with reusable spool is built for long-lasting durability, providing peace of mind even in the most challenging environments.
Unmatched Mechanical Properties
By combining the stiffness of PPS polymers with the reinforcing power of carbon fiber, Bambu PPS-CF offers exceptional stiffness, bending strength, and tensile strength. It has superior dimensional stability and resists warping. These properties ensure large-scale prints maintain precision, making it ideal for high-precision applications.

Solvent and Chemical Resistance
Bambu PPS-CF offers remarkable solvent and chemical resistance, second only to PTFE (Teflon). It is virtually insoluble in any solvent below 200°C. It also shows exceptional resistance to acids, bases, and salts under normal conditions. This makes Bambu Lab PPS-CF an excellent choice for environments requiring strong chemical stability.
Ultra-Low Water Absorption
With a moisture absorption rate of just 0.05%, Bambu PPS-CF maintains its mechanical and thermal properties in humid conditions. Unlike standard PA-CF, which can soften and degrade when exposed to moisture, Bambu Lab PPS-CF remains strong and durable. This makes it a superior option for applications where moisture resistance is crucial.Accessory Compatibility
