Thank you for shopping with LayerX. We ship high-value 3D printers, filaments, resins, and related products across India with reliable courier partners. This Shipping Policy outlines our shipping process, timelines, charges, and related terms.

1. Shipping Coverage

Domestic Shipping: We ship to all pin codes across India, including metro cities, Tier 2/3 cities, and rural areas.

Courier Partners: We use trusted partners including:

• Delhivery (primary for most areas)

• BlueDart (express/high-value shipments)

• DTDC (alternate coverage)

• India Post Speed Post (remote areas)

Courier selection depends on your location, order value, and product size/weight.

2. Order Processing Time

• Orders placed before 2 PM IST (Monday–Saturday) are typically processed and dispatched same day.

• Orders after 2 PM or on Sundays/public holidays are processed next working day.

• Processing time excludes product verification, payment confirmation, and stock availability checks.

3. Delivery Timelines (From Dispatch)

Note: Timelines are estimates and may vary due to courier operations, weather, or local holidays.

4. Shipping Charges

Shipping charges are calculated automatically at checkout based on:

• Order weight and dimensions

• Delivery location (pin code)

• Courier service selected

Free Shipping Thresholds:

• Printers & high-value items (> ₹25,000): Free shipping to major cities.

• Small accessories/filaments (> ₹5,000): Free shipping on select couriers.

Express Shipping: Available at checkout for an additional charge.

5. Order Tracking

• You will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking details within 24 hours of dispatch.

• Track your order directly on the courier's website using the provided tracking ID.

6. Delivery Requirements

High-Value Items (Printers > ₹50,000):

• Signature required on delivery.

• Recipient must be 18+ years old and provide valid ID if requested.

• Delivery to ground floor only for heavy items unless lift access confirmed.

Fragile Items (Filaments/Resins):

• Packed with protective materials.

• Inspect package at delivery before signing. Report damage immediately.

7. Failed Delivery Attempts

• Courier attempts delivery 2–3 times over 3–5 days.

• If undelivered, package returns to us after 7 days.

• Re-delivery charges apply for re-shipment (₹200–₹500 based on location).

• Contact courier directly for re-scheduling during attempt window.

8. Shipping Restrictions

Non-Shippable Items:

• Hazardous materials (certain chemicals).

• Oversized/heavy items to locations without lift access.

Remote Area Surcharge: Additional charges may apply for very remote locations (confirmed at checkout).

9. International Shipping

Currently domestic India only. International shipping hello@layerx.cc for custom quotes.

10. Loss or Damage in Transit

Transit Insurance: All orders are insured during shipping.

Damage Claims:

• Inspect package before signing delivery.

• Report damage within 24 hours with photos hello@layerx.cc.

• Claims processed as per our Return & Refund Policy.

Lost Shipments: Courier liability up to order value. Investigation takes 7–14 days.

11. Force Majeure

We are not liable for shipping delays due to:

• Natural disasters, strikes, or courier disruptions.

• Government restrictions or customs delays.

• Events beyond our reasonable control.
